Body Berserk

Tuesday - September 9, 2008, by Klara Swantesson

STUPID Studio is proud to present the interactive and printed catalogue we have designed for the exhibition Krop Amok/Body Berserk that opens at Brandts Kunsthal here in Odense this thursday. The exhibition presents contemporary artists John Bock, Lilibeth Cuenca, Cecilie Dahl, Jesper Just and Pipilotti Rist and their video and performance art based on the idea of the body as a special site for exploring identity and existential recognition.

It made a lot of sense to work with an online catalogue when it came to show and discuss the artists video art, being able to show extracts from the works and offer links to the individual artists.

It has been a tricky and interesting process to create the space that can carry these five very different artists and their works, and we ended up creating a quite clean universe that allows the pictures and videos talk their own individual language.

The exhibition runs from the 12th of September until the 11th of January 2009.
