FWA Theater
Favorite Website Awards is still a great place to find great inspirational websites. But now the good folks from FWA launched a video site, showcasing all kinds of video graphics, commercials, showreels and movie trailers. There sure is some nice things on display in the FWA Theater, and I also have to mention the beautiful video platform by FiV…. very very nice.

We Heart It is a social bookmarking tool for images and videos. It’s sorta like FFFFOUND, but it’s open for everyone to join. We Heart it is simple to use, and quite handy when you just need some good ol’ inspiration. When you post something that you Heart, you tag it so that other users can find it later on. It’s really all good!
Live Concerts On CD
Imagine you go to a live concert, and it’s a super blazzin’ memorable experience. On your way out from the concert, you wish that you could get the live recording and listen to over and over again. Well… now you can! ConcertLive has specialized in recording live concerts and selling a limited number of cd’s right after the show. They burn discs and stick them in preprinted cd-covers and you get to take them home right after the concert. The ones that they don’t sell at the concerts, they sell on the internet afterwards and they’ve got some great artist. I especially recommend getting the Roisin Murphy concert, it’s great sound quality and Roisin and the band are smokin’.
Scorsese vs. Rolling Stones
On the 4th of April Martin Scorsese will be releasing yet another Rockamentry, “Shine A Light” and this time it’s all about Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie. Scorsese put together a dreamteam of movie people, who helped him shoot The Stones at Beacon Theatre in New York. The concert is said to be a full blown rock’n'roll circus, with a guest appearances by White Stripe frontman Jack White and pop chick Christina Aguilera. Be sure to have a look at the movie trailer… and then go see “Shine A Light” at your local movie theatre.
AIGA Archives
The American Institute of Graphic Arts has an extensive archive of award winning design. It contains different categories, everything from editorial design to motion design. Keep in mind that it’s AMERICAN design, and it somewhat differs from european design. But no doubt there is a lot of great design in the archives, so go have a look.

Ed Banger Records
If you, like me, like tasty nutritious electro beats, you’ve surely heard of Ed Banger Records. They record artists like Justice, Mr Oizo, Busy P, Sebastian, DJ Mehdi and Uffie and brings the most vicious tracks to a record shop near you! Graphic artist SO ME works closely together with Ed Banger Records and produces some very nice covers, t-shirts, merch and videos. You of course know some of his work from the Justice – D.A.N.C.E video, but have you seen the latest video, that he has left his mark on. It’s the new Justice video for the track DVNO and it’s all about retro-futuristic motion logos.
The Gummy Awards
The 2007 Gummy Awards has been announced. Be sure to check out the “Best Video” category, there are some great ones on the list. And if you’ve missed one of last years great records, you can surely find it on the top 50 album list.

The American primary elections is all over the media. It looks like John McCain is going to run against either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, to become the next American president. One thing is for sure, it can’t get any worse than the current president! If I should choose the next American president, it would be Obama…. Why you ask? Because his is such a nice guy!

I recently discovered the Wishlistr. It’s an easy to use web-based application that will help you collect, organize and keep track of the things you want. It also lets you share those things with friends and family. So now I just post my wishes to wislistr and my mom always gets me just the right presents, when she wants to spoil me… so go and make a wish!
