Enjoy Your Christmas

This year we decided not to print and send some fancy pansy Christmas cards to all you friends, suppliers, colleagues, lovers and dogs – Instead we’ve given the money saved to Unicef.
And today we are packing our stuff, cleaning up our desktops and panicking over the last few presents we still have to buy… And it’s time for the last Friday bar this year, where we will wear funny hats and squeeze our intern. Merry, merry Christmas to you all!

Channel Identity

We have just been commissioned to make a brand new and complete redesign of the channel identity of Kanal København (“TV Copenhagen“). The redesign is much needed and a special challenge because of the channels variety in content. Kanal København only has limited access to their bandwidth and has to administer and share their sending time with more than 40 smaller and independent channels. Obviously this can result in mayhem at times, and the real challenge is not only to create a new functional and appealing design, but just as much to inspire and motivate all these other channels to integrate their content gracefully in the sending schedule.

We have already begun the preliminary brains-searching and netsurfing and although integration will be a longer process, the design framework should be finished by February 1st.

Friday Beer

This friday will be the last working day of this year… And we will “beer you” from 4 p.m. at the Studio. Hope to see you there – Christmas hugs will hang loose!

Aarhus gets stupified

Jakob (on the left) and Thomas are the new STUPID faces in Aarhus… Yep, it’s for real and we are damn proud to announce the opening of a brand new fancy pansy studio in the middle of Jutland. The evil plans are simple: We aim to be even better and more flexible at the stuff we do – and Thomas and Jakob are both pretty damn good at it. Watch the blog, ’cause much more will be up here soon.

Marybell Katastrophe asked STUPID to do whatever we liked to their brand new 10” limited edition vinyl. It’s 1 in 500 and we are not allowed to buy it ourselves – and why would we… What a stupid rule! Anyway, here’s some of the doodles that was applied from most of the STUPID gang during a busy day at the studio.

Lars has just finished the production of this years New Years “watch out for yourself” campaign.
