Stupid helped TV 2 with the design for the On-air campaign, 11 september, a memorial day for the attack against World Trade Center. The campaign has now won gold in the British Promax competion in the category On-air campaign. A lot of campaign elements were being judged, among the design, and we competed against big British bureaus and tv stations like 4Creative – so big congrats TV2 and a designclap on our shoulder.

Oh yes, the new radio channel Radio 24syv focus-program on global politics, Globus, is now joining forces with the power of info graphics. We are helping with the design and look forward to get the two media to meet. We all know there are times when a picture or diagram can say quite alot more than all those words, or at least help the audience to get the whole picture of a complex matter. Check out their website for their programs and the current graphics. This is what we did last week on the theme Countries Economical Debt.

Passing Odense? Then keep your eyes open for the campaign we helped Cyklisternes By with, trying to get more people on the bike, despite what lousy wheater it might be this season. Embrace the scandinavian shitty autumn and winter and do it with style! More to come…

If you are in Malmö, Sweden, do catch the exhibition at Malmö with the painter, sculptor and filmmaker Poul Gernes. He’s considered a modern classic and numbers among the most influential of Scandinavian artists and has shaped the face of more than 150 buildings in Denmark, among them, the bright colored cinema Palads. A very inspiring collection of work with colours – go see!

This is not news, but I just stumpled upon this great animation by Kirsten Lepore, Story from North America from 2007. Lo-fi, weird and some frightening animated nipples on the father… Go and have a look here!

Nyborg municipality came to us to help them get young families move to an area called Jagtenborg in Nyborg. This is what came out of it!

The result of the yearly swedish design competition Kolla! is this year  shown in filmformat. A new and interesting way to share the jury and competitors thoughts about the work. So practise your knowledge in the swedish language while you get some insight in some excellent designers thoughts and work…

Finally it´s out there: royalbeer.tv is the new online guide for rock music in Denmark, which we have been working on the last couple of weeks. This will be the place for new upcoming bands to get feedback, inspiration and win prizes for their ass-kicking music.
