Hey TIM,

It was made by rendering out the original animation as a .tiff sequence. Then the sequence was imported into photoshop 1 frame at a time (using psd droplets and actions) Here a “filter” was applied that made each frame look like it was a painting. Check out a photoshop plugin called “FilterForge”.

After each single frame was saved from photoshop, they were then imported into after effects again, where they were rendered out as a Quicktime movie for final use.
