If you’re into vector graphics, like me, you will most likely enjoy Vectips. It’s a clean and very nice blog about everything vector. Upon visiting the site you will find lots of easy tutorials and some nifty Illustrator shortcuts. And don’t miss the weekly vector inspiration blogposts. Have a look a the latest.

I simply love the “A Boy In Mid Air” photo blog . It’s fresh, it’s cool and it’s never ending. Continuously blogs are super nice, and I can just keep scrolling all day. Go see for yourself and scroll down and down and down.

Tip of the day: LetterCult is a blog/site which highlights artists & designers who are working their magic with custom letters. Samples of custom movie titles, custom logos and interviews with the masters. Custom-made, was, is and will be the thing to do!

Our own Stupid-typo-wizkid, Mads Burchart, is now featured on Typographyserved with a bunch of his nice logowork. Too humble to brag about it himself, the rest of us are proud to present: Mr Logo Mads excellent work!

I did not know Ruth Ansel before hearing that she is coming to Stockholm to give a talk at Moderna Museet, but I understand that I probably should have. Ruth is a legendary art director from NY who has worked 50 years in the business for Harper’s Bazaar, The New York Times Magazine and Vanity Fair, and designed books for people like Annie Leibovitz and Richard Avedon. She has now been invited by Hall of Femmes(a nice blog on leading female graphic designers) to give a talk on her career, followed by a paneldiscussion on newspaperdesign. And yes, it´s in Stockholm, but might be worth the trip!

To me a new phenomenon - publishing a physical incarnation of a blog. The blog Its´s Nice That is doing this twice a year – collecting the most interesting posts as well as more in-depth features and interviews in a small book, and expanding their site with a small shop.

Issue 1 of It´s Nice That will feature work from Peter Callesen, Bryan Dalton, Karl Grandin, Happypets, Myoung Ho Lee, Oliver Jeffers, PES, Alex Trochut, Julien Vallee and Felice Varini, and include interviews with Jacob Dahlgren, Hort, Michael Hughes, Riitta Ikonen, Hugo & Marie, Andy Rementer and Roel Wouters as well as features by Andreas Konrath, Tao Lin, Rob Ryan, Stewart Smith and Ian Wright.

It´s funny how we keep craving for the hard copies of things to put in our book shelves. I think we will see a lot more blog compilations on paper and dvd´s in the future.
