Tomorrow is the last day of Odense International Film Festival, and it´s been a huge success! Odense is painted in OFF-purple, and the cinemas are packed with people eventhough the fantastic weather these days might suggest other activities. STUPID congratulates the hard working OFF-staff – what a beautiful thing a filmfestival can be!

OFF is all around these days, and  what’s a good film festival without a proper film soundtrack? So here it is – The track from the festival trailer, expanded into an entire track for you to download and enjoy.

Well, as you might know STUPID created the visual identity for this years Odense International Film Festival. And now we’re proud to unveil the official trailer. We set out to capture the feeling and abstract elements that defines the film festival, and let these elements merge and assemble into the OFF logo. And as always our Berlin-based producer HECQ created the audio track.

The Odense Film festival is now dressing the public with their sexy purple unisex panties. Finally our logowork decorates some of those asses out there! You can buy a pair of your own at filmfestival.dk from June 15.

We have been asked by Odense International Film Festival to team up with them, and help them revitalize the festival. That’s just too good to be true, and one step in the process is to completely redesign their identity and communication strategy.

Their new identity is already done, and you can see it above and in the example posters below. As a part of their new strategy we have developed a logo that is alive and changeable without losing it’s signature and recognizability. In the weeks and months to come, we will be working on the website, campaign, catalogue, festival trailer and a lot more – But it’s not only a facelift for the festival… this year it will reach new heights with awesome parties, concerts, events and all the other stuff that really completes a film festival.
