Every year, the IKEA Foundation hosts the IKEA Foundation Week, inviting co-workers and customers of IKEA to learn more about the work it does to improve people’s lives and livelihoods around the world. For a lot of people, the situation is dire. And we quickly acknowledged that their stories weren’t ours to tell. Instead, we passed on the airtime to the next generation and invited them to share their own stories and hopes for the future. 

The result was a series of ‘live postcards’ and direct messages, offering viewers a brutally honest, emotional and deeply relatable glimpse into the work the IKEA Foundation is doing together with their partner organizations and how they help children and their families from around the world cope with climate change and create sustainable livelihoods for future generation.
